Beautiful neighbouring country towns:-

Denman - nestled at the base of the Wollemi National Park & between vineyards, horse studs & olive groves, Denman is the Upper Hunter's centre for wine tasting & sampling local produce. Enjoy the great food in one of Denman's cafes & restaurants from pub grub, pavement cafes to a la carte dining, cellar doors or visit the Pukara Estate olive groves & tasting room. Walk to Denman lookout & cast your eye down the Hunter Valley & over to the extraordinary Wollemi National Park.

Sandy Hollow - The dramatic sandstone hills of the Giant's Leap overshadow this quiet township which borders the Wollemi National Park between Denman & Merriwa. Enjoy the natural landscape & hospitality of country life. Enjoy a meal at the newly renovated   pub - the 'Tourist Hotel'.

Gundy - is home to the historic 'Linga Longa Inn Hotel' where the famous 'Chris Hemsworth' visited this year on his trip to the Barrington Tops for his project working to save the endangered Tasmanian Devils. Lunch at the pub is one of the most popular things to do in the Upper Hunter! The village of Gundy is on the Pages River, has a general store, historic church & a town hall which hosts a traditional country Anzac Day service & the Gundy Ball in November.
